Parroten requires an account. The connected Supabase project stores your authentication account, profile and settings, completed diary entries, vocabulary review data, and shadowing results. If Keep original audio for review is enabled, the original workout audio is stored in a private Supabase Storage bucket. Access controls restrict application access to the signed-in owner.
Your current voice selection and cloned voice identifier are also stored in this browser's local storage.
When you request transcription, coaching, text-to-speech, pronunciation scoring, or voice cloning, the relevant audio or text is sent to the configured AI provider (currently Replicate and the model providers it hosts) so it can perform that request. These providers process data under their own terms and retention practices.
Voice cloning creates a reusable provider-side voice identifier. Removing that identifier from this browser does not by itself guarantee deletion of the provider-side artifact. Do not clone a voice unless you own it or have permission to use it.
Parroten uses Supabase authentication cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in. Vercel Analytics is enabled to provide aggregate product-usage measurements. The application does not include advertising trackers.
Turning off original-audio storage affects future workout completion. Previously stored audio remains linked to its diary entry until that entry is deleted or a deletion request is handled.
Application traffic uses encrypted HTTPS in production. Database row-level security and private storage policies isolate account data. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Learning records remain until you delete them or request account deletion. AI-provider retention is governed by the provider used for the request.
Parroten is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian should supervise use by a minor and should not enable voice cloning without appropriate consent.
